Oh, Oh. I about to expound something that might scare the naive novice toward a near nervous breakdown. Quick, take two shots of whiskey, if this is so, prior to reading this lecture, now an essay. Why yes, if certain unbalanced individuals read this they might very realize their greatest fears! How pleasurable it is to openly pass out Darwin awards.
I quote “The Keeners’ Manual” above this essay which was a book that vanished from every library on this earth years ago; or so it was rumored. Some insist that the book never existed and was an invention to use epigraphs for the author Richard Condon. Whatever the truth is you’d think that the movie which also vanished from theaters called “Winter Kills” would have appeared again but I speculate it stepped on too many toes being one of the most controversial movies of the seventies e.v.. No one really knows but those involved the reality of those who are behind the scenes with schemes; and today “conspiracy theory” has become more entertainment than anything else where we have conversations about its many areas never taking it seriously whether it is UFOs, or whether the “Brotherhood of the Bell” is based on some secret society like the Illuminati.
Of course, those who have such conversations observe it from the perspective of those involved being rich and powerful. After all, how could any person have influence without using monetary maneuvers and very real connections to very real people of influence.
After all, if you do not believe the Secret Chiefs exist or even if you claim you know Them who can prove anything one way or another? Or what is in the activity of, for example, someone who seems to be working a tedious employment and existence who might have magical powers? After all, an Initiate can be anybody, anywhere and you never really know who they are where they often have to “veil the shrine”. In addition, even when someone is supposed to be “exposed” how do you know if they haven’t been framed? No wonder conspiracy theory has been so popular in these times of transitions; and the overall population reacting to change.
Can an entire movie be created by magick where every detail of its creation has sublime purpose? After all, such magical secrets would be for the highest Adepts and their instruction might be in some lost room that only the advanced and experienced magician might make sense of.
Ah yes, if we are to give even any hints about this subject of the activities of True Will, True Self and what magical gestures of the magician who is involved with the 93 Current we can dispense with any “catch-as-catch-can” delusions from those trying to observe with too few facts who do not actually do magical operations, gestures consistent with the Path and Great Work. After all, the Master Therion great Gestures involves something that involves a 2,000 year old speculation which has blinds only the high initiate can adjust. Bearing this mind, someone who is on this level can actually release blinds; and some recoil with world civilizations can even occur with that fellow who you think cannot possibly be influencing anything. More complexities than this are involved where if you don’t know what you are doing you really are operating counterproductive and “catch-as-catch-can”. Once again, we have brought up the issue of those who try to skip over something that is in the Oaths and Tasks leaving prior to the balance of Tiphareth. In fact, they might leave at Probationer or Neophyte moving forth with magical gestures that deteriorate their sheaths of self from going counter to what they were supposed to awaken. The 93 Current does strengthen the self confidence; and this will be an issue when the student leaves the Order prior to his training being complete. Some live delusional for the rest of their lives; or some simply let themselves forget the original aspirations.
Yet, what of the Adept or Master who has been acknowledged? Where are they? The point being presented is you not only cannot know this wherein it is not a wonder that skepticism does step in to write them off. Since you cannot bring yourself to believe something that hasn’t been proven absolutely the idea of someone who is actually causing change in conformity with their will on a world scale does raise no uncertain eyebrow, I dare say. After all, we have been warned by the Master in his texts that something occurs when you write or speak of the wrong things. You mention a magical power; and you realize it is gone. You give a magical secret; and the student forgets it the next day. You communicate with a Spirit who tells you to do something even after the usual banishing where you do it; and a thousand synchronizations occur in verification. So, yes. A magician somewhere might very well have changed the course of history who might be observed as no one in particular. This does knock the bottom out of those conspiracy theorists who claim some wealthy fellow somewhere has manipulated it all by some chess board series of moves from other ultra rich individuals or families. I once told Ray Eales that one banishing ritual changes the course of your life. He didn’t reply but had a conversation continued along these lines - I might have added a lifetime of magical work might mean you are actually a servant of the Secret Chiefs where it might take you years to know it; and if you do you cannot openly reveal it. I most certainly would not make such a claim but the truth is magick always works after a time; and the more experienced you are the faster it works. My point is the most valuable of magical gestures is your own initiation and with the higher initiations you know what to do with your magical powers. Also, there is no “catch-as-catch-can” when you are determined to do your True Will, have unfolded your True Self; and are working what you work for being you where previously you would not know where you did not know yourself. Knowing what you are means knowing what to do; and knowing what to do is definite goals for your own next particular Great Work.
This is not a matter of the amount of gold that lines your pocket; or who you know in Washington D.C., Nedrow, New York or in the French Quarter in New Orleans or what scientist you secretly contributed to in whatever academic arena or even who you know on Wall Street. This is about you as the centre of your circle working your magick.
Those delightful Armenian Polytheists that I knew years ago had a splendid tradition that shows you this principle. Whenever a stranger would enter their secret sanctuaries they would sprinkle consecrated water upon them. The entire idea was to consecrate them as messengers of the Gods where an Oracle of Tir or Ar or any of their other Gods or Goddesses might speak through them. The entire tradition shows a very high level of initiation; and this tradition exists in the present day. No doubt, if they do this to a blacksmith wandering into their village the corresponding force of the God speaks to them; and so much the more so if this person is a magician. That is actually some sound magick. The Oracle does appear in many of the ancient Temples showing the level of magick and initiation would have been Adept level for those times. I have already gone over how everyone can be the center of your circle; and the universe. Yet, realize that unless you acknowledge others as also the centre of their universe you are heading for trouble. So any secret society that would manipulate in the way the conspiracy theorists warn everyone of would not be us. On the other hand, I shall not deny that a magician can cause change in conformity with will which is our very definition of magick.
