Decisions of Hierarchy

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law

A beloved Priestess exclaimed to me years ago in apparent frustration to the reality of my audit by exclaiming, “it is so easy for you!”. Although I was silent to her outburst I meditated on what exactly she thought she was observing. If only she had known what I went through in the Hierarchy with my Instructor; and the level of self discipline and efforts. She observed me years later as her Instructor where no matter how intelligent and beautiful she was I treated her equally with discipline balanced by fraternity. No matter how glorious or sublime the consecration when the magical record arrived I was determined never to appease, lie nor permit my personal feelings determine my decision with the Hierarchy. In the back of mind we anticipate those who have merit to hold the plow and continue the harvest every season. We try not to give in to that worm called hope for the Hierarchy means making decisions that you either make or permit deadwood to float endlessly in futile anticipation of their deterioration or misguided interpretations. In the early days of my Path their really was struggle at times; and although I endured the strain of time with good standing with my Instructor I had observed first hand other members who made no effort towards the higher initiations; and even rationalized away responsibility where zeal of the Hierarchy seemed to be diminished by some unresolved complex. I was present to see members who I was once convinced would have a glorious future only to see them expelled, cut contact with, or end up nearly insane. All these decisions by my Instructor made sense. He was fortifying the fit; and eliminating the unfit as it is protocol. Nevertheless, when you are associated with such members you learn what to magically do or join them in their deterioration. I choose to continue my Great Work; and they placed the truth of the decision making of the Hierarchy on the back shelf of their priority. So the Priestess who made this remark about how easy it was for me had no idea the horrors I had seen or the joys of what it was like to finally be trusted or acknowledged. What was the reaction to the deteriorated member to me? Envious spite that I attained a higher Grade than they while they were cast out as unfit. Well, most of them have died either of drug overdose, or joined a rival group, or are convinced that I cannot have attained what I was acknowledged by my own Instructor to have attained. In short, all my real rivals who really went to efforts to hinder me or destroy me were members that I knew; and once honored. The decision of my Instructor was always something of a shock no matter how much sense it made to observe someone who I associated with who dropped to all fours.

Very well then. The decisions of the Hierarchy cannot be compared properly to any known Government; and the nearest you can parallel its living breathing karma is an elite military stand where you have the commanding officer scrutinizing the private first class. The goals of the Hierarchy are spiritual, magical and intellectual, rolled up in fine complexity where we have to make decisions or go the way of the old Golden Dawn. Confer Liber LXI where the Order failed to initiate. The sum of the equation of what occurred where we attempt to not let it occur with Us where decisions are always toward those who persist no matter what, that arise smelling like roses while those not serious are cast from Our Circle.

Does such an experience exist where any magical secret can be hinted at for those who truly aspire to become Adept and Master in our System. After all, I remember meditating on all this years ago; and remarked that you are either chosen or not chosen. Yet, it might assist to give this insight. That concentration itself is a magical power that develops from magical work as an Egregore or thought form for those who persist with their magical work over the years. This “background concentration” is brought by A.C. where he recommends never ceasing your Liber Resh and other magical routines like doing will at meals where you do not lose what you’ve gained from dharna. You are keeping alive your aspirations and one pointedness by keeping those methods of magick alive which remind you of what your aspirations are; and have been. Yes, it might seem impossible that concentration is a magical power but only if you attain that level of discipline where you persist with magical work over the years.

A new aspirant that remains on the cusp of the old Aeon and the new Aeon where he or she finally makes adjustments to the positive of, respectfully, the True Self and True Will can be assisted with vitally needed instruction towards success. For those who have had the experience of ordeal and initiation where they finally take a stand they are easily motivated. Well, if you fit in with such a dynamic  adventure where you’ve made a decision to adjust your timeline, as it were, to actually explore by actual magical practices; and adjustments with attempts toward True Will by the awakening of the nature and powers of your being where True Self is radiant as you move forth towards magick and initiations I salute your aspirations.

What is true is always beautiful yet what is beautiful isn’t always true. Yet truth is never universal for you view as the centre of your universe what you observe while the other magician shall simultaneously observe what is important for her or him who might see the colour blue of the sky while you in your glory Unto Nuit see the blue lidded daughter of sunset. I do not see anything the way I used to see anything for experience has changed the timeline; and initiation has adjusted truth for myself. We must observe caution how we instruct our aspirants keeping this in mind. I have observed many aspirants observing that the insights do not approach anything but a mundane level of insight or the nature and power of their being observed as magical powers of any rank cannot be experienced unless you make those decisions where you’ve taken a stand to take control of your life in favour of the Great Work. Who knows on what day a flower shall bloom? Observe, as you develop the skill to observe all initiations from the inner planes; and try to measure with honesty where this initiation will place them with regards to Grade. You can at the very least keep them from the delusions of presumptions brought on by what they think they think they’ve attained. In addition, your experience will keep you from the errors of exchange being many who cannot be convinced that some minor initiation while working alone isn’t some supreme attainment. The aspirant who comes into the Hierarchy whose sincere magical practices have already covered some ground shall be of value if you can take it up with them where parallels have already occurred. On the other hand if you while working your magick alone have decided that you really, really must be spiritually a Master of the Temple, intellectually a Exempt Adept, and magically as powerful as Merlin I have to go to the trouble of working these compromised balances of your being. If you consider yourself spiritually a Master how are you accomplish the Oath and Task of Probationer where you’ll try to walk where you haven’t learned to crawl? If you are under the delusion that you are intellectually an Exempt Adept where you haven’t developed creativity in your insights to give an essay that represents your school of thought you’ll be exposed by the level of insights in your magical diary, and if you think you are powerful as Merlin where you can’t levitate a pebble worth a damn I’ll unhorse your delusion in short order by demanding demonstration of your magical powers. It is otherwise with no uncertain relief to actually realize that an aspirant has appeared that at least tried to bind their word by their deeds. It should be especially important to state that the last line of Liber AL, Chapter I, verse must not be taken out of context with the previous lines of the verse. While it is important to observe with honest clarity not knowing well the other this does not mean while functioning as a Hierophant you ignore which ordeal or test is for that particular aspirant. Meaning, the gross aspirant who has passed through fire, for example, need not be concerned with the other aspirant whose unfolding consists of which trial would be conjured for the fine in intellect. The entire verse is an important thought form with regards to testing; and exists on more than one plane of existence. Of course, the lone aspirant can delude themselves; and often does. After all, if you think you already know everything; or are not serious about initiation, where do you foresee yourself being in twenty years? The reality of this should concern you but with no Instructor you have no correction. The exception to this tendency is too rare to be really taken seriously for the level of self discipline for the lone aspirant with no serious teachers to become Master will be extremely improbable. In 1972 e.v. when I first accepted the Law of Θελημα I saw what I saw from its perspective and did not take the concept of different aspirants with different issues. That old self in the early days of my Path seems very naive and humble where the level of self confidence that built over the years; and initiations that occurred I do see so much, so much differently that I am nearly nervous at observing what I observed with my old self and Me years later. If I hadn’t experienced what I experienced I would have not learned what I learned so every point event is nothing to be regretted. Are you under the shadow of the wings; or are you out of touch with your True Self without the benefits of the neshamah? Can you answer that truthfully? Those who truly aspire to become a Great Initiator or Adept or Master in this lifetime will be taken seriously.

Those who deteriorate to a certain level must know that decisions of the Hierarchy are inevitable.

It is up to you how we decide on any given ordeal or initiation. It is without real truth nor logic that you would blame the instructor for the decisions of the Hierarchy; nor should you harass nor hinder those who have been acknowledged in good standing where initiations have truly occurred.

If thou does not like what is seen.

Change yourself.
