Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law

Well, the observation that the method of science with the aim of religion means both spiritual enlightenment and magick can evolve means it is worth serious consideration. With deaf ears; and with so few who will repeat the experiments and compare results like scientists should I shall give even more that will, again, more than likely not be taken serious consideration? I do persist, insist, and resist perpetually in spite of so little support. Any laboratory experiment where we are working towards verified results by more than one experimenter shall verify it. No doubt, it is foolhardy to call myself both laboratory and experiment. Only the lowest charlatan or an Eastern Guru from savage India or Nepal would tell his audience that he has made himself an experiment on himself working alone. With an Instructor; and others to assist these verifications, eventually, even parapsychologists who rarely give published science papers that amount to anything might step up to the plate and add to the overall dissertation. The groundwork has been laid down for your study by the Master Therion. His great genius although rarely acknowledged by the commonweal means magick and spiritual enlightenment need not stagnate into dogma. The method of science with the aim of religion means we can exceed the boundaries of what was; and move forth with those methods already laid down in our Class D documents. I am in this lecture calling Aleister Crowley a great genius which does, indeed, raise some eyebrows in the academic community; and most certainly among those enslaved by old Aeon protocol.

In this lecture I shall expound and answer a few questions. I do realize that such subject matter is rarely given sufficient commentary where it would alert anyone who would support us. Yet, Thelemites should realize that they will always write you off with as few words as would be consistent with their prejudiced thought forms where we need volumes to explain ourselves. Boleskine was not built it a day; and if we do not build our Temple brick by brick magically it shall not manifest properly into the Plane of Disks. That question has been on my mind for many years which Thelemites should ponder. How do I explain all this to those who are not Thelemites? A.C. tried this on occasion where he would try to write for the uneducated. So, any attempt to write something where even a reefer addict from the ghettos of Kolkata can understand it does take some serious correction when assembling such a presentation. I think the idea that your student is already grounded in the essentials never works out; and the old reading lists have volumes that are too rare to find, obsolete with new discoveries in science and oftentimes not as relevant. We have tried to correct this but you must realize that those volumes that existed on the bookshelves in 1972 e.v. when I became a Thelemite are absolutely different from what existed in 2025 e.v.. Therefore a list of books that are recommended by a younger Thelemite might be absolutely naive where they forget themselves on what I read or any elder Thelemite in the preliminaries; and what they have read proceeding to recommend books that simply didn’t exist back then. My Instructor in “Magick Commented” gives a commentary on those books on the reading list that cover this issue. The issue of those who have done so little magical work trying to write of us does peek its head but in this modern of era of video we have those giving lecture that have the IQ of a poop-stick where they absolutely cannot present with clarity where sensationalism has twisted everything to make you think the way they think you should think. Interviews with experienced Thelemites are rare enough; and a breath of fresh air but even they cannot possibly give you everything about everything where more than often than not stupid questions are asked; and out of politeness they answer them where they are an elaboration on the obvious for those who have not even done random studies of our curriculum. My perfect advice for stupid questions? Well, the norm is to tell the idiot interviewer that they’ve given you a great question. Perhaps it is better to tell them to pull their head out of their ass; and cease such deceiving and idiot patronization. Well, it might turn out that they will hate you anyway. By being brutally honest they actually hate you and respect you. Be that as it may I don’t expect anything will come of such advice. After all, everyone should not try to be me but be what they are. Isn’t this the point of the unfolding of your True Self? Bearing all this in mind, what requests of late have been really good questions? It doesn’t help to bitch slap the interviewer telling her that she just asked a stupid question so, again, my perfect advice comes to the rescue where I advise against it.

Well, it has been requested that I give lecture on this issue of intelligent life existing in the universe; and whether we are really alone in the universe which are two questions that blend into each other. Those types of questions which imply they want you to do your work for them; or are ruach rationalizations that could be answered by themselves if they took the time to research or think for themselves can be annoying. We must be patient when necessary; and blare without a care when appropriate. These questions I shall now comment on seem to be much better.

For the question whether we are alone in the universe I would state no, explaining that we have each other. Not good enough for you? No problem. The other question we must resort to Las Vegas gambling logic rather than scientific proof where no proof has been given us. We state that the odds of the size of the universe where the chances of other intelligent life forms exist is a good gamble to state they do. So laying your money down with Grants means you shall have some unknown percentage of success if you look long enough. The percentage part only comes into view when you actually have won with the odds and actually discovered proof. Then we can change our Las Vegas gambling logic into hypothesis and theory. After that, we leave the gambling casino completely; and other issues that science will encounter shall be feasible.

Anyone versed with Darwin’s work on evolution sees that something of an “opportunist scavenger” or a predator type has to exist if they exist along the same lines of evolution as science has presented means that conflict will occur with other life forms on our level of evolution. If anything, why would they care about us? Are Alpha Centauri aliens any better eating than those in the Andromeda Galaxy? If anything, we must be skeptical about them ever assisting humanity’s goals if we find them. I think it is important that we colonize outside our solar system; and behave like we will go extinct if we do not.

Meanwhile, back at the blue dot we should never delete primal functions. The beast within may mean our survival over those others we might someday meet. The Law of Θελημα becomes the ultimate guide toward not only communication with others but does not compromise our future survival. My estimation that the advanced Adept who has communicated the way they can and learned to communicate makes them more qualified than anyone of any level of intellect in the academic community to be qualified to be first contact. In addition, among the multitudes of interpretation I must proclaim that the Law of Θελημα is a survival manual for the entire human race. I might remark that proper evolution means survival. The concept of the natural evolutionary wave of humanity from the perspective of what we shall evolve into was never covered by Darwin. (1) Of course, stating that it prepares us; and develops us for survival in our pursuit of space travel should at least stimulate some interest in planetary scientists and freethinkers.

The more real estate available for colonization the better. No planet lasts forever; and to become an immortal species we must move forever finding new homes. If it takes millions of years to evolve; and a planet that has not been compromised ecologically in order to evolve we must develop space travel. Can we evolve anymore on our home planet when the ecological systems are no longer a factor? Even the science of vaccines to save lives raises an eyebrow where the weak do not die when they would die where the fit are the norm. Of course, I must have terrible morals to even mention such a contradiction from scientists.

Does this mean we are stuck at homo sapiens with no chance to evolve when we apply Darwin’s work whether we can evolve into a higher life form here on mother earth? Why, even if we restored all the ecological systems we are an intelligent life form at the top of the food chain, true or false? Not only survival but evolution comes into the issue where science cannot answer this at this time; and I observe the solution is moving to other planets so humanity shall exist throughout the ages and have answers to life elsewhere without doubts. Always Unto Nuit means the Temple of Nuit is sacred to the space programs.

Of course, it would be convenient for humanity to be alone in the universe with regards to intelligent life but the Las Vegas gambling logic seems to be in the favor of its truth. (2) After all, if goldilocks planets are occupied this means wars from humanity who will insist they will do anything to survive. All those science fiction stories about we being invaded by aliens are actually our own fear; or even desire to do what we imagine they will do. I explained that not knowing what an alien life form that is intelligent is like science fiction writers create various forms of ourselves. We are the greys, the Star Trek alien villains, the vicious predators that they imagine, the Stargate concoctions and so forth. They are parts of our very real consciousness arising in science fiction. After all, they cannot imagine what we might really find out there so they invent parts of themselves that thrill the mind deeply for those who enjoy science fiction tales. It is interesting that more science fiction doesn’t have us humans invading planets noting our blood thirsty history of wars. You think it would be an assumption on my part that other life forms that are as intelligent as we exist are also as violent as we are. The issue that other civilizations have survived somewhere where they are more advanced than us means we can use our devious and scheming natures to use their own technologies against them. In the long haul, it is about our survival. Will we in some future time with the advance of space travel commit genocide on an intelligent life form? As humanity is, has been; and apparently cannot cease being it is highly likely. Will we give nothing and take all where we annex all the real estate inhabitable? We humans have lots of experience with war. You should for safety's sake always be in touch with the reality of your inmost True Self to make those decisions which do not recoil on you.

Conquer, that is enough. I think that “that is enough” should be carefully meditated upon for those who do not understand the concept of social evolution.

Love is the law, love under will

(1) In a lecture some time again I tried to expound how Darwin's theories applied to the allegedly innocent title “social” as in Social Darwinism would amount to tyranny if applied to Government. Such a Government would make Hitler’s ideology look like the calmness of a sunny, spring day. Millions upon millions of innocent people in all walks of life and intellect would die merciless deaths. Imagine everyone below the IQ of 100 slain; babies killed at birth; and the numbers that would have to eradicated to achieve such a nightmare of a political ideology. I might hesitate to watch something so horrifying if it ever became a horror movie; only watching it as an act of self discipline to observe it to see if my normal sense of civilization would not give me nightmares for months on end.

(2) As everybody knows Frank Drake created an equation that might not be useful until we actually know the real odds which means we have no way of knowing when this is to occur; and how or where his stimulating equation might be adjusted. So I am going to the trouble of giving him a footnote. He seems to have created the equation to create fun conversations among SETI people. Whether he is completely correct; or partially correct for it to need adjustment in the equation it is beyond our vision to know how the equation is going to look years from now if extraterrestrial civilizations are found. From the perspective of stimulating interest in those otherwise prone to write the subject off he contributed hours of fun conversation for scientists. The Drake Equation will be remembered and brought to the attention of we humans centuries from now; or even thousands of years from now when we have colonized Goldilocks Planets. Even those adjustments that will be inevitable do not change that without his equation others would not have realized how important his original equation was. So, his equation; and the adjusted equations that would be an eventuality make Frank Drake destined to be remembered while others might be forgotten in the myth that will become mother earth. Why yes, mother earth’s location in the universe cannot be revealed to other intelligent life forms lest we really do be invaded. I could even state that their will be humans who do not know which planet in the universe they really originate from. I should also remark that motivations toward our True Will, True Self and those primal urges for survival are consistent with the human race; or a human being to consider themselves special. The key is to realize others are “special” as well where we will lose ourselves in false gratifications of ego rather than the confidence of our pragmatic existence. With this lens we can observe the centralization and self esteem in its true light. Of course, we might one day know whether an alien race might decide the circumference is nowhere found and observe a Thelemite’s perspective as the point is Hadit; and from their perspective they are equally special but who can tell what they will think of us until first contact. So any speculation on the issue of arrogance does not take into consideration that the unfolding of the True Self means you really are who you really are; and not what others decide you must be. Therefore, the debate on the subject dissolves itself where we as magicians and exorcists are the centre of our circle ceremonially; and yet this is equally true for others whose conception of the magical circle is infinite possibility. I have warned students in the past that to not consider others also the centre of their circle is inconsistent. No doubt, if you even perceive it from the plane of true pride an inferiority complex is a hindrance to the True Self. Conceit builds false confidence. Yet pride and self esteem exist from knowing what you really you are where you will experience something like being unafraid of the consequences of your actions; and even what might be considered arrogance to others. The issue of those who think they know how you think you think based on scant data is a normal issue among us humans. This has led to scientist’s speculation on how the ancients thought where they may not be always on the mark. So the logic that we human beings are not special in the universe is inconsistent with the logic of those who are called Thelemites. In addition, we cannot deny the ancient’s concept that they were “special” and the centre of the universe has consistencies with Thelemic Metaphysics. Of course, to consolidate these insights I refer you to Liber AL, Chapter I, verse 4, and Liber AL, Chapter II, verse 3.
