Parallel Definitions of Systems

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law

In today’s lecture I should expound and explore how Parallel Definitions of Systems can lead to any number of false conclusions from outsiders to our system of Grades. Especially, if you are yet infested with crapulous creed Old Aeon concepts that we have long identified; and equilibrated or have been already purged by the prophet. Even the definition of magick and what the goal of another system’s supreme initiation might be defined as might be incorrect if I try to give insights to those whose Grade system has individual goals that are inconsistent with a Grade of equal name. A comparative correspondence of Grades proves futile. We are all human; and therefore it might be possible from this perspective to give some basics. Yet, this has not been a correspondence that has been properly outlined. The best you can do is remain silent and respectful to others. Of course, if they join us they might very well be in for some rude awakening; or at least some surprises.

It is relevant to clarity of communication to either define any new terminology of the processes of initiation; or use those that overseers of the Order have expounded. I do realize that comparative correspondence of Grade systems has not been touched upon yet those working the Grade system of one magical Order will have definite purposes where you eventually attain as the Master who originated it has parallel for the pilgrim. Although I might state that a Grade in the Order which is temporal might have for its test of loyalty to the Hierarchy while another system might have a Grade that insists that it is development of the magical powers; or even a seed where the great unfolding of the True Self might be possible in higher Grades we must not become dogmatic. After all, when I explain what I explain it from the perspective of my system that I have embraced for so long while another Grade system might have goals or aspirations for the aspirant that include those variants of task or even Oaths where initiation shall occur if instructions have been taken seriously. Either way, unless you work your way from one Grade where you concentrate on priorities of that particular Grade you will not grasp the purpose of that Grade; and unless initiation has occurred you might be mistaken on what the will of those who developed that Grade are going to be. The truth is that you cannot know a Grade until you have attained it. In addition, my insights on the subject are not necessarily correct for another Grade system; and especially those who resemble a system of Initiation but are simply thrown together by some intellectual whose attainments are of some minor initiation.

To invent a new magical order creating Grades that have nothing to do with any supreme attainment by an Adept or Master is something that you must observe. Many lying spirits exist on this earth; and you should observe with caution whether that person who thinks an insight has been expounded where he or she has perpetuated extreme prejudice with the assumption that all Grades are created equal where any attempt to realize supreme goals are mere seeds where you try to place a tree in the forest; and then state this is the primal tree; or the hidden truth of the Mystery of Pan. It should otherwise be emphasized that when I expound what I expound it is from the perspective of my own initiations, the working of Grades where I concentrate on priorities; and the various lessons and work have definite purpose. Each Grade in the system which I expound has a magical secret; and a specialized initiation. So, be wary of brand new magical orders noting whether an Adept or Master has invented them; especially trying to grasp the Grade system. After all, if I use the words, “True Self” or “True Will” these important concepts have been defined and have a clarity for those called Thelemites. You can always spot someone whose ego gratifications give unclear definitions as either a moron or an egotist or worse, an occult scholar who has never interviewed or discussed anything with a practitioner. Most certainly, I can at least respect the occult scholar who has associated with the practitioner where definitions are consistent with realities of a Grade system and initiation; or even magical powers. It seems to me that I am observing more occult scholars in the past ten years. Or perhaps with advanced forms of overall communication more of them are seen than previous decades. I already know I never burst their bubble with my lectures who assume that they have researched sufficiently to understand the working of the Grades; where one Grade has its will to teach or test loyalty; and another Grade emphasizes other vital aspects such as magical powers; or even a centralized magical secret. Yet, I would expound from the perspective of A∴A∴ or O.T.O. while another system has other definitions that might be incorrect from our perspective. Do you have all in the clear light? It might be that when the real initiation occurs you will no longer agree with your past self which wasn’t completely a True Self. Or the awakening of a magical power or Trance that you did not suspect existed changes your school of thought and even the will of your present Great Work. The learning experience of doing magical war with enemies would most certainly produce a different school of thought at Exempt Adept than a magician who gets along nicely playing nice to everyone. Yet, we hate that evil would be wrought in the world; and therefore we cannot always be pleasant to everyone.

Well, if you can’t be reasonably reliable, consistently applicable, conscientiously computable, rarely refutable, doused with dedication, on fire with aspiration, honorable and honest how might I define any terminology you try to pass off as wisdom? After all, and especially if you arise from a Path of Esotericism that has some old Aeon antics where you haven’t any understanding of our ethics, goals or will you will expound something that is insight for you which is insanity from our perspective.

We strife to define our terms; and to avoid self delusion.  “I could have used you” is an expression poorly expressed; or “I’m not going anywhere” has dual meaning either to the positive or the negative depending on context.

Yet, remember to keep an open mind. Old Aeon Current has by our very definition a clarity where “help and hope in other spells” means you must align certain formula with the New Aeon. This means our definition of your system’s common glossary shall have what we deem to be the magical gesture of purging for us.
