Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
I once stated to a skeptic who objected to any claim I would have to be Adept or Master this pertinent question. “If I am not an Adept or Master, then who is?” Naturally, this foolish novice did not answer; and proceeded with his career in senseless attacks against innocent initiates making false accusations and jumping to conclusions. Eventually, he died in his misery of a heroin overdose after spending a number of years showing the only Grade he ever gained was one that was demoted by his Instructor; and he spent his life trying to object to everyone; and especially if they claimed Adept. Well, here I am that that I am a Thelemite since 1972 e.v. where I have encountered numerous aspirants, some of them with actual potential; and some of them apparently first incarnation aspirants who are too naive to be other than a puppet of another's thought. So, in this lecture I shall explain how and who I would observe those who claim Adept. After all, who am I to judge you if you are on another Path of western esotericism and you are named Adept or name yourself Adept? How ironic it is to state that I will be tolerant and friendly to those who you might automatically reject; and not so tolerant to those who actually failed under my observation or my Instructor’s observation. How amusing that this scenario has popped up so many times no one knows what I really have with regards to my choice of freethinking partners of contredanse.
Whether you state you do not claim Grades, you take them. Or state you do not take Grades you claim them no issue of what shall occur if you actually join us. Our Oaths and Tasks, our Letter Patents and even our Constitution are meant to be an Order; and that means keeping Order. We are a secret society; and if you’ve become other than a secret society where you no longer “veil the shrine” expect all your high horse ruach rationalizations not to be a stand but a last stand where realities might very well be something of an ordeal when you realize how many times I will be able to correct you. Indeed, if you think that you are advancing the Path and it turns out all you are doing is lining your pockets with gold in an ongoing effort to promote yourself do not be surprised if I have objections and adjustments that might take some time for you to finally feel good about yourself. That is, of course, if you survive after those idiot pranks are shown to you what you’ve really done and been.
Without a doubt, someone who claims to be involved, even secretly with A∴A∴ and O.T.O., and then offers for a fee two lessons that will make you an Adept you have lowered yourself to the vile rationalizations of traitors and fools. You cannot expect me ever, ever to consider you above those who I have worked with or worked with Me in a Hierarchy that has taken me years to develop. On the other hand, I know enough to mind my own business; and although I might privately write letters with extreme criticism at you, using you as an example of infancy to name names is wasted effort. This is all not necessarily from the perspective of living and let live. I am letting you die in your pathetic misery for your deviations from what has shown me to you to be a false self who has lowered themselves to becoming a foolish con artist. What is worse, you rationalize your stupidity away by virtuous words or give a lecture that when broken down will have a tendency to become a puppet of the black brothers. Isn’t that just typical? Where the same flow of demonic energy from self deception creating the same level of lecture where you have become nothing more or less than a charlatan who is leading the sincere aspirant on. In this case I state to you that if you are really an Adept you do not need tell me so. I will know what you are; and use you as an example, often with details that would floor you, on the depth of your deterioration.
My observations are going to be detailed from those instructions from my Instructor; and be assured that my loyalty to my Superior even years after His death has not dissipated. I do claim to direct the Hierarchy in compliance with His instructions; and any minor changes are meditated deeply upon where my coordinates have been taught by either my Instructor or experience; both simultaneously. I should begin by trying to expound how I would and will observe these manifestations of magical energy, levels of initiation, my careful scrutinization of your magical record, and of course that essay that you have decided makes you on the level of an Adept. How do I explain what I see? I should begin by trying to explain how important it is to gain insight into Jechidah, Chiah and Neshamah. While the triune must be firmly studied where you can distinguish the lies of those who would not see what an open book you’ve made yourself in your behavior; whether it is essay or lecture. Indeed, while you can observe the delusions or lies you can actually study a magical record or essay to come to any number of those observations to get the aspirant on the path toward realities. Well, if the triune is one then we can establish some type of coordinates that might assist us to assist you. I attempted to explain this years ago where I named Jechidah Hadit Manifesting, I named Chiah as Hadit experiencing, and Neschamah as Hadit speaking. My meditations were met, often enough, by confusion where they hadn’t bothered to develop coordinates that even began assimilating these insights for the New Aeon. I tried to resolve this somewhat by writing a commentary on Little Essays Towards Truth but on the main this magical gesture was met with deaf ears. After all, if such observations towards student was proven to be correct I had exposed any number of traitors and fools who claimed to be Adept who were simply lost in disordered nephesh, ruach masturbation, and their claim to have neshamah manifesting into ruach was simply the twisting of their minds to suit their self satisfaction, worthless rotting little corpses trying to pass themselves off as Adept while they were becoming a puppet of the black brothers. All well and good for the Hierarchy that I directed but an Adept by our standards is not an Adept by your standards. Rather than make enemies by senseless criticism I actually acknowledge that from your perspective you might be really an Adept in your system. Yet, from our perspective you cannot come up to our level; nor would I profess to descend to yours. My point should be viewed with strict clarity that it is a breach of tolerance to make such rude comparisons. If anything, some slimy old Golden Dawn individual can be called an Adept in his own realm but be assured that his world will be shaken with earthquakes if he or she tries to join our Hierarchy where we haven’t forgiven nor forgotten Liber LXI. The same perception shall be for the Wiccan or Witch woman who has spent decades developing with her Coven. I might acknowledge you with enthusiastic friendship an Adept in your system. After all, if you have spent years in that Coven you most certainly deserve the respect of your dedications. Yet, pause yourself. For you have no recognition if you went elsewhere where we rule our world while you would be like fish out of water if you tried to join us after so many years. Nevertheless, our tolerance towards others only goes so far where I might state that some woman who has dedicated years in some magical order has to have some ecological place where they are, indeed, a true Adept in their system. Let us not mix the planes. Our definition of high standards are understood to not be by your definition of high standards.
Of course, public lectures do not work for a Thelemite like myself who veils the shrine. I do realize how difficult it is to explain that the ruach is only “the heart & tongue” when Hadit is known, manifests, where experiences are spoken from Neshamah. I have tried to explain that the triune is one so at the same time control of nephesch is essential. Nephesch only functions properly when the Lust is unto Nuit. All else is disordered and on too low a plane for you to be truly expounding an Adept’s insight. Well, seeing this clearly myself unless you are on our Path is going to be rather difficult for you to relate with. I can explain a lot to a Thelemite but those infested with old Aeon currents are hard pressed to see our observations; and eventual adjustments.
I should in this lecture emphasize how important it is to observe that an Adept in another System or Path absolutely will not be considered an Adept as we define it from our official curriculum. Before you raise your eyebrow or even your sword let me explain that we have coordinates that are specific for our Path. Well, how about it? Are you of another Path not called a Thelemite? No doubt, I shall not deny a follower of Helena Blavatsky's Path who tried to blend the east and west together that She was Adept and Master. Yet, without denying that she was truly a Master, was what she taught passed on to a successor that can be called an Adept? Not so you would notice it. Well, no claimants of any significance come to mind but if they did they would be the type of Adept they are; which might even have objections of parallel. No one in AMORC is an Adept by our standards; and yet if an aspirant of their group claims Adept it would be foolish and presumptuous to object. Adepts might very exist in their group but they are Adept as they observe it while we are Adepts by our own standards. Other magical organizations will have the same issue with us where although we will not object to you calling yourself Adept from your perspective where it is hopeless where we have no way of knowing what you mean by the word this does not mean we accept you as an Adept as we firmly have Oaths and Tasks from our Path. If you are independent Thelemite neither affiliated with either A∴A∴ or O.T.O. using our Grade system it is folly to make claims for yourself. You have no Instructor and therefore would only be confused what the A∴A∴ really is; or the sublime goals of the O.T.O. from the perspective of higher circles. Other legitimate Lineages is of course folly to attempt any criticism. I simply can’t be sure of you unless you are directly involved with you in my own Lineage. Therefore silent respect; and tolerance is the norm. The fact that I have had sufficient initiations to know an essay from a Thelemite who is a lone practitioner from a thesis of Adept Exempt proves nothing. The issue of blinds was taught to me early on so I would not criticize an essay meant to promote our Path.
Naturally, if you decide it is your will to become a member of our Hierarchy nothing you think you are will be of any consequence where we will demand you adhere to our curriculum.
If you are for example, a Wiccan or on the Path of Witchcraft where you’ve worked diligently with a Coven I might very well with any number of observations or exchanges call you an Adept. I had an issue with one person writing the usual intellectual snobbery that is so typical of those who are really not open minded at all but indoctrinated by old Aeon Current or private prejudiced. This issue was he claimed no Wiccan or Witch based on the studies he has done on their protocol meant they could never be Adept. I immediately gave this snob a lecture where I gave the example of a Wiccan that has spent decades working with a Coven. Can you be absolutely sure that you are not riding a high horse of ruach rationalizations where you jump to the conclusion that this Wiccan isn’t an Adept in her own Path? Most certainly, he observed females as those of other systems of western esotericism worthy of affairs but he perpetuated those ego gratifications of superiority where he never really recognized them as anything but existing with a similar Path but more or less on the stone age level of pagan magic as presented by dabblers or sensationalists or those too young or naive to know better. We as Thelemites have very strict coordinates on how we view what an Adept is. Yet, such psychological projections might be closed minded if we set our preferences with such objectionable objections where we object to their claim to be an Adept in their system. If they ever came to us they might very well be in for some rude awakenings. Or would they surprise me? I need a few pleasant surprises, of course. Of course if you were once involved with the A∴A∴ or O.T.O. and are not now promoting yourself as an Adept I shall never accept that you are anything. Yet, I am not writing of those who were cast out, quit or lost interest. It should be obvious that such are all either traitors or fools; or both. What we are writing about are those other systems who claim Adept where we cannot be sure; and therefore mind our own business.
We must keep an open mind where even someone who appears on the surface to be an Armenian polytheist, a Spanish Alchemist, an Illuminati doppelganger, an Israeli Sorcerer who is dedicated to the Lesser Key, a reincarnation of Gurdjieff, a Chaos Magician, the so-called Christist mystics, an old Golden Dawn die-hard, an “Adept of AMORC”, a Romanian wizard, an Arabian or Gypsy Fortune Teller or any other Path that might be or might not be recently developed might eventually have Adepts in their system. I use Wiccan and Witchcraft as an example where they have had more time to become Adept while other versions of western esotericism in recent decades have little to offer right now but might after a time evolve into something important. If someone suddenly appears in the occult community that would profess to teach you to become an Adept you should not immediately assume that this individual is a liar, a traitor and a fool. He or she might have something that is useful for the novice or even an Adept in our system. Although the majority of such individuals might very well be lining their pockets with gold and are very real charlatans do not be too quick to judge.
As everybody knows who is called a Thelemite we define an Adept as those have had the Knowledge and Conversation. Even the introduction of the concept of “samadhi language” brings us to coordinates that are too involved in this lecture for all but the Master. The heart of our definition of Master has a tongue but I have already explained how I view this where I emphasize writing sweet words for the kings rather than endless ruach masturbation by those who do not balance theory with practice.
So, keep an open mind about other systems where they would define Adept from whatever realm of initiation that the highest of them have attained. On the hand, if you really, really have decided that this person has proved themselves to be a charlatan, a cheater or a liar you are to know and destroy the traitors. No doubt, if you are minding your own business you’ll have enough with your own Great Work to bother with those outside your Circle. Yet, when it comes to Adept of other systems, kindly keep an open mind. What if you are wrong about that individual? Then you have become a persecutor which is the worst consequence of your apparently sincere efforts of exposure. No doubt, if you observe someone who was once in the A∴A∴ and O.T.O. and is now presenting themselves with fees to profess Adepthood it might be obvious that this is yet another aspirant who failed and is unworthy to piss in the same outhouse as those who persisted and never gave up. Yet, hold your tongue with others in other systems. After all, who do you think you are to judge without sufficient data to back up your presumptuous accusations? I once told a troublemaker student that he should be cautious not to harm himself swinging wildly at false ghosts and assumptions. Can you sum up in a paragraph some magician whose path has volumes to study? I think you know the answer to that.
