Although it is pleasant to observe such a surge in membership I am in touch with the reality of Hierarchy exchange. A percentage that I never like to observe always drop out, or are cut contact with or drift away where the deadwood floats away from the Island and those who are truly serious grit their teeth and move towards higher Grades. Some will surprise not so pleasantly and some will adhere to Fraternity balanced by Discipline moving with astounding or rapid growth. My vision on how any number of aspirants will turn out doesn’t always give me what I thought would occur. The truth is, factors in the equation of karma will be unknown so you cannot evaluate any aspirant in the short term. That highly intelligent young man who wrote the perfect letters; and seemed to have merit might have issues or complexes that, not bringing up, they end up with the type of rebellion against the Hierarchy that you could not have of anticipated. Another aspirant who seemed to be too dull and without educational background might become the next Master of the Temple simply where lack of IQ wasn’t the factor at all but simply naive and reserved through lack of experience.
Character is important and we observe how the ego, the paranoia,
the past bad experience has compromised the aspirant’s chance for
survival. On the surface, and to a casual observer if one were permitted to see they would not believe the sudden surge of insane outbursts where a previously honored aspirant will become, to all intents and purposes, a liar and a traitor. From our immediate perspective it is routine to fortify the fit; and eliminate the unfit.
Naturally, we are called any number of revolting adjectives as a consequence but I do not exist to please the “many and the known”
who often appear like they know what the training, audit or experiences are truly like in the Hierarchy of the A∴A∴.
Well, solo Thelemites on video and other social media platforms are
actually trying to teach with our official Liberi. So of them will bait the unwary by some stupid question as the title of their video; and proceed to give an instruction that would insult the intelligence of a moron. With no official instruction and no affiliation or sometimes
existing in the aftermath of a failed magical order they try to pass themselves off as Adept or Master. I do not expect such a scenario to change much where the delusions of intellect or even false initiations
where they exist in over energized ruach awakened from a short time of serious magical work they consider themselves qualified to instruct. After all, they have become commercial enterprises with plenty of deluded followers who think they are advancing when they are really being conned by someone whose past shows treachery and
disrespect from their ego based rebellion. From Our perspective if you have failed the Order you simply have too much inertia with your karma to assist anyone beyond a certain point. No one is forgiven when they become a traitor to the Order; and there are no second chances. We’ll we waiting for you in your next lifetime.
A magical Oath cannot be broken.
Naturally, with such a surge in membership my Representatives worldwide want me to pat them on the back. Although the efforts are with true volition just remember it isn’t over with until Valkyrie Brünnhilde sings. Or to put it another way don’t count your chickens before they hatch. I already know from decades of developing the Hierarchy that only those who are truly serious about the Great Work realize the importance of moving forth no matter how severe the ordeals. So how many truly realize the peak of their aspirations to become an Adept or Master in this lifetime or even aspire to the second rank of magical powers at Adept Major? They gain a Grade or two and then establish themselves in their Sephira.
So let this be a warning to all new Probationers that without the self discipline that regular practices are going to bestow upon you that you might very well be subject to force beyond your experience and read carefully our Curriculum. Nor forget that We are a magical order making any social organization you’ve existed with beyond anything you have ever known.
With these choice words in your meditations remember that the irrevocable Oath is not for everyone. Perhaps you are happy listening to occultists or Thelemites give lecture on video? Live with what you consider is going assist your growth on the path. Some of those interviews are valuable and some are a waste of time. Yet, enter our realm and know that nothing you observe will be seen in the same light. Even as initiation takes you to the mountain do you see who wanders endlessly the valley.
Yet, rude awakenings are not uncommon when you finally decide to get serious about the Great Work.
