I should cover my years of aspiration to attain the true spiritual enlightenment or if you will, real initiation. Most certainly, the meditations do develop and insights synchronize. If I am to explore true spiritual enlightenment I have already gone over the importance of concentration.
Let us just proclaim that my main points in my essay called the “Lecture on the development of concentration” has been applied so your meditations over the years have been developed enough towards the more advanced meditations that require a very real experience of correspondence to observe reality as reality. To make reality is to see reality and yet one is an operation of the overall essence of life everywhere where you know magically what to do. The other is the actual aggressive magical gesture which now knowing what to do you proceed to do the instructed magical operation. I shall go over how one process moves into the other process even as Hadit is ever Unto Nuit.
As interpreting phenomenal existence is viewed to understand the universe we must firstly always note the deterioration into the Plane of Disks. Yet, the origin of such phenomena from the supernal shall always be studied from the perspective of the manifestation and progress of the 93 Current.
I do realize that it took me years; and when I was ready for the volume titled, “The Heart of the Master” to take on its importance presently where other volumes and Liber were more important on my Path. What did this? In order to understand the universe I needed byways which were our way to come to the surface to create specialized meditations from this important volume. No doubt, I simply didn’t possess the level of initiation in the early days of my path to realize the depth of its insight; and there always seemed to be contradictions in its correspondences which I instinctively knew were blinds but was unable to draw those curtains to permit the sunshine of insight where I would see the point, and develop from its latent purpose. As far as the eye can see; and as far as I can see I was blind to the blinds; and it took some years to appreciate and really be able to develop proper meditations from its genius contents. Everyone should have a copy of this volume in their library.
Going back to actually doing a magical operation and observing its effects on phenomenal existence is not the same meditation as partaking of essence of the universal life to see what the overall manifestations of the 93 Current is doing. After all, I am not the only magician doing Liber V or even Liber 44 or other secret rituals that assist the Aeon that Lineage has passed on to them. This means partaking of the essence of the universal life gives you instruction on the next magical operation while actually doing the magical operation and observing its results, while both interpreting every phenomena as a particular dealing with your soul are one process moving into the other process.
What is manifesting is of course very interesting but do not forget that “magical practices” have to be used. This means doing “magical operations” or as my Instructor called them; “magical gestures.”
Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees!! I should make a remark on the universal life which will only be of assistance to those truly serious. This is beyond the comprehension of the majority so simply skip over this paragraph if you are idle or stupid. The novice might think “Hymn to Pan” where the Night of Pan is mentioned in ONE STAR IN SIGHT might be enough to understand the universal life. I might only quote that
“Hoor in his secret name and splendour is the Lord initiating” adding that
“...now is Hoor let down into the Animal Soul of Things like a fiery star that falleth upon the darkness of the earth.”
waiting for the aspirant to move above Dominus Liminus where the concept of “Pan is Nuit” is no longer a hindrance to elevated insight. I’ll tell you in private how to handle the issue of his secret name and splendour; if that time on the Path arrives where you need the information. "his" isn't in upper case might be a hint or a blind; or both!!!
A divination tells you what is occurring, of course, but a change in conformity with your will is the real magick. Both result in a meditation that is beneficial for development but both support each other even as theory must be balanced by practice right from the preliminaries of your path. No doubt, I do recommend the magical record but it doesn’t always pan out where even you think that you are observing the method of science if you have no instructor to audit it you have deteriorated to the delusion that you can experiment on yourself and gain the same progress as a solitary magician. Our curriculum resolves this issue in our Manifesto called ONE STAR IN SIGHT where the problem of those involved with the magical record without an instructor to audit them are forever making claims that cannot be verified. If someone tells you that they have experimented on themselves and have been using the magical record with the method of science a red flag should go up! You might admire their aspiration; nod at their efforts and give them respect for their choice on the path but this does not mean you can be absolutely sure they have attained. I remind you that I went four years (1972 e.v. - 1976 e.v.) as a solitary Thelemite before affiliating, and I had to be corrected numerous times by my Instructor. My Instructor shattered many delusions; and gave me sufficient rude awakenings to know that I wasn’t as far along doing it solitary as I thought I was. For myself, the Master came when I was ready for it as legend or tradition gives you with both eastern and western esotericism.
I want the real spiritual enlightenment. I will the true initiation. I have desired true magical power and powers.
