Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
The connection of territorial instinct and racism has been, prior to the Book of the Law, an issue that was not and cannot be resolved whereas the territorial instinct cannot be deleted from our being without compromising the True Will of the star upon his or her course through the universe.It is otherwise an unresolved issue where its cure can never be the herd mentality of socialism without the individual freedom of the True Self. Of course, great geniuses like Carl Sagan give deep wisdom in his lecture on the blue dot where nearly everyone does not see his points or the fact that we are one world and all human beings much less the fact that everything we have experienced with evolution of our species comes from one home world.
Naturally, the territorial instinct isn't stifled or deleted like a Hindoo would do in his mediation. The Eastern India Guru makes the same error where their passive indifference destroys parts of the primal self that are necessary for initiation and evolution. The best advice is to put territorial instincts under the control of your True Self which is simultaneously under the control of your will.
Of course, no one actually read Carl Sagan's perception where its importance was emphasized properly. The territorial instinct from his perspective means our territory is earth and this does does not set well with those who would develop a more civilized attitude who have not looked at the planet earth and realized its vast significance and insignificance. Racism and the worst forms of dictatorship occur with the territorial instinct when it manifests into prejudice. President Reagan hit the nail on the head when he anticipated outer space aliens might bring us together as one human race.
Humanity everywhere continues on the same path where the stupidity of racism was the consequence of the primal reaction of territorial instinct. Not developing the concept of one human race on planet earth the majority of the human race, like hypnotized imbeciles, did not improve their behavior and the USA yet persists with its habit of racism where nothing has changed and no one is whistling any other tune that was heard before. As a Thelemite I anticipate improvement when more have accepted the Law of Θελημα where they will see the glory of perceiving every man & every woman as a star.
It should otherwise be noted that if you are traveling the territorial instinct that results in racism will be perceived where you are able to adjust your survival instinct without savage obsessions. For every man & every woman is a star therefore we are actually moving on our course throughout the universe meaning our learning experience (Hadit = Going = accumulated finite knowledge) has eradicated the possibility of degeneration of these perception to the lower planes.
A.C. once stated that the first Nation to accept the Law of Θελημα would become sole mistress of the world. So, in a sense our territorial instinct awakening as patriotism is a motive for world conquest. As the political arena exists presently, we have a mad man like Putin stating he would destroy the world if Russia was destroyed for he does not want a world without a Russia. We have nearly every country or nation that considers themselves more worthy of survival and longevity than others. No dictator can keep his territorial instinct from becoming negative in his showmanship to emphasize patriotism. No honest or corrupt politician can help contradicting themselves in the long run by not existing with a true understanding on territorial instinct and one of its most dangerous consequences which has come to be called racism. If we have open borders illegal immigrants come in and disturb citizens. If we have closed borders we isolate ourselves from the rest of the human race or a country that borders us. In both cases, the territorial instinct results in racism. The Great Wall of China permitted this Nation to grow with culture and assisted its survival. Yet the wall in Germany divided the nation. Again, we have territorial instinct that resulted in either racism or patriotism.
Gangs in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and other large cities establish areas of territory where they try to keep sections of their city for their mischief. Again, this is territorial instinct which has consequences. Most certainly, a stronghold of criminal activity which might very well originated as simply the territorial instinct of a people trying to protect themselves.
It should otherwise be emphasized that sociologists and those who specialize in the study of evolution should do more lecture on the issue of territorial instinct and its not so causal connection with racism. Of course, no solutions to its application can really be advanced politically without reiterating the conspiracy theorist obsessions with the fear of a new world order based on one Government.
It should be otherwise emphasized that those primal instincts are important aspects of our True Self which evolves us and made us the human being we are. In a sense, it would be a hindrance to gaining an understanding of the nature & powers of our being to delete such instincts from our being by meditations. This would make about as much sense as cutting off your right arm to civilize yourself.
Nothing resolves the issue at all but the Law of Θελημα.
