Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
Well, shall I take the favorite stand of that Hungarian Fortune Teller who after paying her fee her first words are to proclaim she shall reveal your past, present and future where she pulls aside the velvet cloth to reveal her crystal ball? Naturally, you are so entranced by her cleavage, her accent, her hypnotic hazel eyes, and her garment that you cannot know what will occur; unless of course you pay her extra where after crossing her palm with silver she gives the best of her entertaining attempt to convince you that her mystical powers shall be to the advantage of yet another session next week where, at last, she knowing and seeing all shall resolve all your issues with the usual fees. Well, although her approach can be quite entertaining and even sensual I shall take a somewhat less dramatic approach; and expound from the perspective of my meditations on the Path. Ah yes. The three card tricks of the Fortune Teller should be experienced at least once to observe the level of their telepathy; or to enjoy such traditions to observe a very real system of divination. You either venture or miss the adventure.
Past, present and future should be addressed in this morning meditation lecture and soon destined to become an essay from a different perspective of the Fortune Teller. Rather let us give these three aspects of the Path some attention in private meditation. With regards to past those learning experiences are vital with your unfolding should firstly be regarded what you’ve done in this lifetime; and later you can work with Liber תישארב. After all, don’t blame past lifetimes when you can trace the issue to something that had occurred early in your life whether it had to do with a strict or even insane family or equally insane encounter with old Aeon religion or even bullying or abuse.
You dwell upon your past those experiences that assisted, twisted or resisted you, you aspire to a glorious future where the vision or visualization, stimulation, revitalization, contemplation or confirmation whereof what you have become in the present from the two previous, now obvious, copious, of us or robust is not static but a never ending Hadit of experience with the infinite experience of Nuit.
I have attempted to explain before that the crowned and conquering child within is absolutely New Aeon while the “old man, old hermit” vision of those who have aged towards a so called maturity are beating an old Aeon drum where they do not expound without the consequences of a twisted perspective on True Self. Rather, the false self cannot grasp the True Will; and with any number of deterioration of the biological system end up cantankerous, ornery and without inspiration. On the surface, those who are aged with the deadly mind set of the old Aeon Hermit have permitted themselves a level of deterioration in too many cases result in them stating that enough is enough I am old now; and I must join forces with those senior moments of distress (mistaken for maturity) rather than that eternal child within that is so primal it is named “babe in the egg” where even the tetragrammaton for the New Aeon is “this” and “amen” directing you to new formulas of regeneration which adjusts the previous notions on how to view yourself. Most certainly, those new age mystics have only partially realized that their “child within” lectures have some merit but do not take it to a magical formula which is emphasized in ceremony and meditation. Keep in mind that I entered the Path from where I was labeled a “new age boomer” where the “Age of Aquarius” meant something glorious was in store in the coming decades from the sixties era vulgari. Of course, going from “new age boomer” to someone who became a Thelemite in 1972 era vulgari makes my perspective so many decades later different from someone who accepted the Law of Θελημα who was, for example, previously, from some Eastern Path where they could not identify with “existence is joy” where Paths exist in the Orient which decided the old man of wisdom; or the sage on the top of the mountain or the mystic in the deep forest is the end game for the Master. I should give an example of a question where this error has been so ingrained in the orientals and especially from the Hindoo and the Buddhists that they have some issues with our behavior. Not long ago I was asked this question from some slime ball in India when a man of my age stopped with the desire for sex and relationship where the question has dire implications from his Path; and no doubt being in his twenties was raised by those insights from his very own minute experiences of the Path; or worse some Guru who he admired as the stereotype of what a Master should be. My answer was I would let him know when this occurs where he apparently did not like my somewhat decadent demeanor where I implied I would actually have a relationship with a young woman of sixty five at my age. Yet, thinking about his age and my age I realized he saw any desire from senior mystics as perversion; where my answer was simply that “conquering child within” which keeps alive the absolute glory of “existence is joy” that we Thelemites are always identifying with. How curious that if I had been his age he would have slapped me on the back and asked me how my relationships were going while he categorized me with those types of seniors who are mystics whose life within has gone dormant by old Aeon compromises. After all, in old age isn’t it standard to accuse someone of my age to be a dirty old man when they cannot see that I am a human being who has not let the fire within die by taking seriously that “existence is pure joy”? After all, I have faced those false accusations from outsiders whose false parallels of east and west have attempted to insist upon that old Aeon nonsense that I observed years prior to be psychologically compromising. The best you can do with such attitudes against our person is to not permit such negativity to be a part of the conversation any longer that we have to. The problem of those who have spent years with the Tao who try to come to our ranks only to have just those rude awakenings where they head for the exit wondering how this strange western esotericism would of destroyed them if they had followed our soapbox. No doubt, any meditation that deletes primal function where they deny the reality of the nephesh; or insist that the magical powers have no place with spiritual enlightenment are actually creating the type of initiate or master that does not assist you whereof by the time seven or eight decades have elapsed all they can do is tell you of sorrows rather than inspire you with the joy of life. We enjoy all things of sense and rapture. Keep in mind that the genuflect old Aeon attitude exists in the west as well as the east where we have to be careful around those who will persecute us where they are so saturated by dogma they immediately consider you evil, corrupt or criminal. Immortality shall therefore be observed from a perspective of how old you identify yourself within which is a New Aeon experience that awaits all those young Thelemites years from now. I do realize that a Thelemite in their twenties when they are most frisky and vigorous might be difficult to realize the true impact of how glorious it is to actually be yet eternally youthful six decades from now. Especially, when they are yet resolving any number of problems from being brought up with old Aeon theologies that actually dampen their youth where the True Self and True Will have not been realized by even the first initiation.
On another plane entirely it might be difficult to observe your physical body as only one phenomenon among a multitude of phenomena yet I can only absolutely recommend Liber Nu and Liber Had be taken in consideration. New Aeon cosmic consciousness and all its real secrets involve the First Chapter. In addition, most of the interpretations of what Ordeal X is shall be speculation until you’ve become a Winner. An excellent meditation can be easily created based on THE CIRCLE AND THE POINT brilliantly written in THE WINGED BEETLE on page 141. Its magical link with Liber Nu and Liber Had will be clarified for the serious initiate with serious meditations.
You can proclaim all day; and half way into the next Aeon that you understand it the way A.C. understood it but it shall not be how you see it when you finally See nor perceive the way you’ll perceive it when those very real initiations give you control of planes where the vastness of the Universal Life has opened doors and even lost rooms that are beyond presently your imagination.
Nevertheless, that unfolding from the past, learning experiences from present and aspirations of the future shall always be what you are; and not someone else.
