What I am about to expound might not make sense without the raw experience of many years of magical work; and A.C. lived and died not seeing how important it was. This issue of an essay as a License to Depart simply doesn’t occur to so many; and when it occurs you ponder on the magnitude of its apparent deviations. It is clearly not important to the unserious how something A.C. had written seems, on the surface, to have absolutely nothing to do with the promulgation. I tried to explain this to some of my more advanced students who are capable of its vital importance. I cannot tell whether its importance and impact was duly brought home for a later time to expound to others that are of lower Grades. So, let me take another attempt to go over the issue. Remember that Hubbard and even one initiate fell from this issue; and the other initiate who failed from the problem ended up wasting his life writing books on UFOs completely ignoring his original aspirations, Oaths and Tasks. Let’s catch the poisonous spider before it crawls up your leg as the old saw goes. Or knowing what the manifestation of energy is let it manifest and then use it like an initiate.
Some time ago a magician who I shall not name passing himself off as an Adept participating in an ego chess play when they got a hold of a student’s letter and publicly displayed in a stupid attempt to slander me. I wrote this troglodyte a letter trying to explain politely that the letter wasn’t even written by me but a student and he wrote me back behaving as if he was my friend with the remark that he was enjoying “Simon Iff” stories. All well and good that he ended up making a remark about me being too old; and I realized how his ego was reacting with my existence. After all, he associated with the worst type of ego inflated occultists that in turn associated with someone whose pathetic betrayal eventually led to his proclamation that he was no longer a Thelemite. The three involved were known for their disrespectful behavior and ruach masturbation where they went against the Book of the Law by doing videos promoting argument.
Naturally, I claim innocence to any hostility toward these three; and they were incapable of observing the black brother current in themselves or others being, basically, bottom feeders in the occult community pissing away their lives with the delusion of the grandeur who patronize people with polite lies or simply rationalizations to promote themselves. They are unimportant and being basically black magicians from the perspective of the true Initiate who has actually met with the higher initiations were simply an example of how deterioration of the sheaths of the self from not taking it all step by step were discarded like trash into the gutter from my mind where I moved forth and continued my magical gestures.
You may smile when I claim to be the biological version of a lie detector machine to false initiates but the smile will be wiped from your pathetic face when I know and destroy you as a liar, a traitor and fool. This lesson should come naturally where your memorization of a Class A document in the preliminaries has given you yardstick to anyone’s level of essay when you finally arrive at even Yesod. Nevertheless, such manifestations of insight, thanks to A.C.’s wise lectures on Liber 777 and other vital documents assists the docket of correspondence. Liber 333 on Doubt and the Soldier and the Hunchback read together gives further advancement of the idea to this plane where you are not conned by those who outright lie. The real initiations open your eyes to subtle and not so subtle treachery. I think my study of my own magical records has been, in addition, very useful but even with all I know I am ever changing and learning. No doubt, when I catch someone red handed being underhanded I shall always take a stand and adjust often enough aggressively towards their behavior. The fact I shall not act with physical violence nor name your name publicly doesn’t mean you won’t die or go insane when I have dealt with the issue as a Thelemite should.
As for the “Simon Iff” stories from My perspective which will not be another Initiate’s perspective it had nothing to do with the promulgation and was a thought form being released as a License to Depart where the magical manifestation had no place to go but releasing it in the form of a Detective story. The false friend who wrote me playing games where he should shown respect simply did not understand how A.C. could have written right in middle of the prime of His magical career what seem to be extreme deviations from the promulgation. That he would recommend “Simon Iff” stories showed the blatant in consistency in his overall skills with communication with Initiates; and any Thelemite for that matter. I automatically rejected his attempt to play his game; and of course he had no idea how much I could see of him; or how deeply my experience had taught me what to magically do with he; and his other worthless would be occultists who had rejected elders; slandered sincere initiates and promoted the essay of failures to back up their delusions of how the Great Work manifests and the Ordeal resolve for the sincere.
I learned when I surprised myself writing a science fiction story about these type of writings that had magical gesture unaccustomed and unknown manifestations in contradistinction to those normal manifestations that are included in my other essays. The magical energy and accumulation of ruach thought form has to go somewhere; and sometimes that which is written will have entirely different manifestations than your other works. In a sense, the “Simon Iff” stories are a similar manifestation that my science fiction was where I needed to get those insights out into the open so I could observe them carefully. Complexes so deep and from planes so foreign to my usual magical work that after many years of they to have no other outlet erupted into a science fiction story. Serious students should note that Hubbard created a science fiction story that was a release that instead of learning its inner manifestations for his personal initiation tried to make it a part of his Scientology religion; and you see the what came of this where his lack of initiation made it a dangerous thought form and a part of Scientology.
The release of complexes early on with your Path is completely different from the release of magical energy from years of magical work that include supernal guidance. For the deeper you go the deeper there is to go. It is important to move forth; and in your going shall some sublime purpose from an unknown hand shall find something was at work beyond an intelligence, beyond your wildest dreams of what you thought initiation was and shall be.
