Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
It looks like it going to take more than a few paragraphs to build it all into a lens where I am able to explain it all where, in fact, my lens is accomplishing everything all at once but when you try to explain it with any clarity it does take some effort to give it the explanations that are needed. After all, how you perceive reality as reality when so many of the complexes are resolved will change the lens of your reality where you appear to be nothing like you’ve appeared to appear in appearance to others. In other words, I have to take it step by step finally building my thesis where you will finally see my perceptions of the issue. The logic of Grades carefully covering all the bases until you attain those parallel goals and experiences might be a good example. The reality of the lens of a Probationer compared to the seasoned experience of the Adept Exempt years later might be another example. So, let me give you more than one example; have patience as I move you through what might seem a maze.
How you are perceived and what you really are involves a clarity of perception overlooked by those whose observations by the whims of the herd mentality have compromised your individuality. Therefore, let us explore how this issue might be balanced within ourselves to see reality as reality offering examples; and possible meditation to make the right decisions of True Will as we explore what we are observing. If I see blue which you see as yellow we are equally true to proclaim blue or yellow. Yet, you should not impose your lens on me when my blue is my blue from my lens. Of course you will nevertheless; yet I can at least understand that your lens is different and be perfectly at peace with your point of view knowing that unless you are moving with an agenda trying to sway me to what is a truth for you might often be a lie for me.
It should be especially be noted that a lot to be concerned about is what is really the sum of a civilized and initiated individual that shall be the norm for the reality of all human beings? After all, what is considered a Master in the East might have contradictions to what a Master should be in the West. Environmental differences, tradition, habit, and even DNA might be studied more carefully to try to understand how the lens of each will have objections to each other.
Occidentally on purpose is not always Orientally with purpose yet the lens of east and west produce a different perspective. ("Orient" and "Occident" are "East" and "West.")
We observe through our mundane senses, in a sense, if you’ll pardon the pun only what our eyes, our smell, our taste, and so forth can perceive as human beings. Our minds are observing only what we as human beings can see. None of this really means what we see is but garment of what is real. After all, we need any number of tools like telescopes, microscopes, and so forth to observe what we as human beings can see. As a consequence of this peculiar realization we must keep an open mind on the possibility of what we are seeing, or what we are being told might be skew wise toward limitations. With this realizations we know that others might be swaying us to the reality that is convenient for them; and what they would do so must be carefully scrutinized for falsehood.
A politician might proclaim among his group that this or that is what the people want without inquiring of the people and create laws that are in contradiction to the original principals. The lawyer might find a way to rationalize an obvious debate that has no basis on the reality of the guilt of the accused one way or another to simply win the court case. The elected official might do the opposite of what he or she promised during the campaign when realizations set in that to survive the game of politics he has to survive among those he has found aren’t doing what he imagined they were doing where the elected official fights or makes deals to hide the truth from the citizen. The news outfit might give a slant to the news based on their own opinions and sway the multitudes with the type of news that destroys or assists a candidate. It is worthy of comment whether you can really deduce properly what is occurring when everyone has a lens that has possible distortions where you are being swayed by the agenda of others. They lure you, worry you and hurry you but when you observe through the lens of your reality the truth arises from what you really are; your True Self.
This issue of observing reality where you are actually observing truth can become so twisted that even scientists will try to hypothesize that the entire universe is some sort of digital reality from super intelligent aliens without any more data than empty rationalizations. Well, as initiates we can counter the intentional or unintentional slavery where others will sway us from our centralization by their agenda by how there reality has been compromised by any number of obsessions. The initiate gains control of more than one plane of existence; and with the work of awakening the True Self at least others with their delusions can be countered by moving forth as a star upon their course through the universe where their will is unfolded.
Well, I haven’t burned down the universe, verbally, and rebuilt multi dimensions of controversy along the timelines of My universe of discourse in a while so lets go over the subject matter of feasible solutions to the issue of observing truth within and without. Why yes. I’ll try to explain it all from a perspective where even the reefer addict from Seattle might make some sense of it. After all, how often do you hear the observations of someone on the Path of the western esoteric path of spiritual enlightenment and magick express such notions?
Look out or rather look within, I feel some controversial thoughts coming on!
Perhaps several examples might be brought to light where we can communicate in a more concentrated manner; and try not to permit what we think we see is what we see what we are seeing is blurred by false perceptions. Clearly, the danger of obsession that results in poor decisions; or worse crossing the line with regards to infringement of human rights cannot be crossed out of the equation.
What have I observed from experience that might be of interest to those who would aspire to improve their clarity? I might encourage exploration; or inform you of my adventures but the honest approach is to direct you to unfold yourself where the True Self is perceived through the reality of what you are; and release you into the world to work your will out. Your lens might very well assist others; or you might meet conflict along the way but the main point to be yourself and not anyone make you a slave.
All this is perceived with clarity from my perspective; and not absolutely clear to those who haven’t observed what I have observed. I most certainly do not deny that the issues of indoctrination are a flaw with protocol with nearly every university but I have also seen very real prejudice where the deep south educational process does produce as fine an education as the Ivy League schools. (screams of horror are heard in the back of the class where someone has just realized their southern accent has stereotyped them as a hillbilly, hick or of lesser intelligence.)
I suppose it might be interesting to comment that some of the television or movies are geared toward this to a certain extent and influence. The list goes on with many movies that do not do justice to the truth of American Culture in the south where very real effects economically and politically arise where the south is viewed with blurred eyes from not only Ivy League mentality but by the entire world.
If how you are perceived will how you are treated wearing the clothes of the country you travel makes sense; and when in Rome do as the Romans do or be thrown to the lions. Well, this is the way the proverbs advise you which never permit the eccentric or the freethinker into a room of conservatives. I take it we do not live in a world where you can actually be who you are; express yourself yourself creatively or voice a contrary opinion without being pounced upon? Diversity as a social experiment in overall society is clearly a very slow process; and no one can really tell whether the timeline of the future will give tolerance among the overall population of human beings. In fact, we cannot clearly perceive who will be walking our streets three hundred years from now with the advancing AI fad. Well, today is when you really need to look within; and observe those without or you repeat errors; or even create brand new errors more horrid than the most concentrated version of the horror movie.
Stereotypical thinking is the norm everywhere. Yet, such a path really doesn’t build exchange towards those that are different. My teachings have tried to emphasize not only the awakening of the True Self where the true will shall erupt gloriously but to acknowledge the will of others as equally of importance to learn from.
The mere traveler who simply is a tourist to the interesting sights and monuments of a nation will not be enough. You must look deeper than those who seem silent on the beach at the French Rivera, or you randomly observe as a well digger in Louisiana, or the fast food worker in Sante Fe, and the list goes on where it takes more than a casual observation to learn from others walks of life. One warning might be observed, of course, never to jump to conclusions for anyone can be anyone with whom you could learn from.
The other observation is to “know thyself” incribed at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi is yet another lesson from the past where it never gets old unless you let yourself get old. Another proverb was incribed on the same Temple was "nothing too much" William Blake expanded or gave commentary on this quote by stating "You never know what is enough unless you know what is more than enough." Most certainly, a new proverb expanding on an old proverb is quite stimulating, don't you think? Be that as it may, you'll most certainly move to the realm of experience and even controversy if you move these wise proverbs to the adventures of life where you actually try to see reality as reality without any number of delusions presented by those who speculate on how to climb the mountain rather climb the mountain. Even the third proverb at the Temple of Apollo which is "give a pledge and trouble is at hand" warns you to of that individuality that must not be compromised by leaving the center of your circle. Or on another plane a "pledge" is just the trouble you need to experience.
