Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
It is, indeed, an ironic and oxymoron state of affairs, don’t you think?
Where in order to expound A∴A∴ progress and truth I have to soapbox about the lies. After all, I might very well hold a world record to how many times I have been lied to. Of course, those who simply do not bring up vital information that may have assisted them are not actually lying but it may result in similar ordeal for them. Both keeping back information and lying seem to be issues you meet the path. Yet, in order to expound truth I must lecture right from the beginning means moving away from the false self to the True Self. Now, don’t try to con me with dogmatic nonsense like “Higher Self” which is in contradiction to “True Self” or you will bring the lies of dogma to hinder you from the true initiations.
The glory of my Path over the years has been filled with adventure as I continue with persistent volition to fulfill those goals of the Order where initiation, insight and growth and even magical powers are made manifest in the Plane of Disks. I mention the Plane of Disks with emphasis for the spiritual to be made manifest we cannot ignore that its reality must be seated into the plane of reality of our existence. We try to explain this, at least partially, but proclaiming the importance of binding our words by our deeds. A true insight must be from experience or you are out of touch with reality.
Many are there quotes from many who promote philosophy but what is true for the will of a single initiate might be on a plane which cannot be truly understood. Therefore, in our system we have different classes where the planes are kept separate. For example, Class A is written on the highest plane while Class B and onward is below the abyss. An Adept Exempt who is required to write an essay on his or her school of thought writes official documents in Class B when approved by Authority while the Master who has crossed the abyss writes in Class A. If you follow our system carefully Grade by Grade you will understand this. Again, experience and moving forth Grade by Grade to fulfill its Grades is important. Our Manifesto titled ONE STAR IN SIGHT is meant to be taken seriously. Experience is essential. Those ordeals must overcome. Those initiations must be written down and carefully studied. No one initiate has absolutely identical experiences yet some parallels are going to occur where the Immediate Superior can see those signs that true growth has truly occurred.
Line four of the Task of Dominus Liminus is an excellent example of how a different star will choose or accept an Office in the Temple of Initiation depending on the karma of the aspirant. Years ago, I was baffled on what to do where thinking generic simply doesn’t resolve the issue. I had to think the way I will to think letting myself be open to what I really was to know what to really do. I remember thinking that the magical lamp was a part of my Task so I shall consecrate my Lamp to shed light on this issue that must be resolved or I remain this Grade for my lifetime. I resolved the issue by creating a Temple on the astral plane; and from this step was able to take the step that was right for me. Others of the same Grade might take another direction and actually create a specialized Temple on the physical plane; or other solutions that would be wrong for me and right for them. The Imperator of the A∴A∴ will not demand those lines you memorize for the Task to be the same for every aspirant that makes the Grade. Yet, the Imperator will know magically what to do. Yet, going into what the Knowledge and Conversation of the A∴A∴ involves is too advanced a concept for the majority who are novice and absolutely impossible for those who haven’t taken an irrevocable Oath. This Task is otherwise an excellent example of how the True Self dictates direction on a higher plane than many would have a notion to observe; and what liars those frauds are who try to lecture on such issues without that raw experience that would have them face the issue in the first place. Yet, we have those who would try to lecture about the Knowledge and Conversation of the HGA where the principles involve even deeper issues where they skip over everything and end up making fools of themselves. How many pay attention to Liber VIII; and the real instruction in ONE STAR IN SIGHT? I’ve covered this in past essays and bring it up again.
Must I elaborate on the obvious? Those who have not moved away from their false self lie to themselves and eventually lie to others. Only the True Self can dictate the True Will which finds the Great Work for you. You can lie, and you can lie, and you can lie some more but eventually those who are truly sincere and apply themselves know the truth of the Path who have realized their True Self and what is needed for their next step. Clearly, the false self lies where those complexes, unresolved, give them delusions and their reality is twisted to fit their obsessions which originate from some scar that hasn't healed. When you stop lying to yourself you will stop lying to others; and when real initiation occurs you can recognize it others. Be that as it may, the process does not occur overnight; and there are those who have been hurt by some event in their life but they are not broken do have potential. After all, we are not psychiatrists with a savior complex for we fortify the fit; and eliminate the unfit. If they are not broken they can overcome the issue but some have moved too far into the path of darkness where they cannot quit the night. No doubt, the dangers of the old Aeon currents are many yet the beggar’s banquet that “lies” on the table of those who lie to themselves cannot realize truth in any sense of the concept where the true initiate can see you no matter where you hide in your universe of discourse.
Love is the law, love under will
