Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
The flow of instruction is steadfast and sure within the Hierarchy where we can audit and instruct without compromise. If the aspirant is sincere and dedicated they will progress. What of the flow of instruction from the solo aspirant who has never experienced Hierarchy. Can they really bring you to a real initiation? I have observed both sides by observing the level of the essay; its tone and insight where I know that I made the right decision years ago to move with the curriculum of the Hierarchy. No doubt, you can learn from some of these random videos or lecture but after a time they can take your money but cannot take you to an initiation.
The issue of commercial enterprise was one of the first discussions that my teacher Marcelo Motta had with the Master Karl Germer as I already explained. The flow of instruction with my Instructor did occur with the strict insistence of Master Karl Germer. In my case, the flow of instruction was reiterated where I met with any number of experiences impossible for the solo Thelemite. Without my Instructor I would not have reached the level I reached and I doubt that any significant initiation would have occurred. I’ll get to some insight into how the flow of instruction can hindered later on suffice to state that most of the time it involves not concentrating on the priorities of your Oath and Task. By all means, read our Manifesto ONE STAR IN SIGHT carefully to observe the details of the Grades. You fulfill it or do not get passed on. That is the meaning of audit.
I dare say, that the delusion of the ill trained magician who never has inquired of those who have been taught to “learn and teach” in official Hierarchy will always move with tedious and irrelevant perceptions that do not correspond nor prove real initiation. How dangerous and stupid those video creators are who start their alleged lecture with a stupid question proceeding to give a moron commentary; or equally stupid they proclaim a list of items they “wished” they had done listing all the stupid mistakes from their Path insisting they remain solo when all they had to do is find an instructor who would have warned them of such asinine mistakes. Then they rationalize it all away where they are implying they are seasoned adepts who are showing what they learned while all they have done is show what idiot they were for not seeking a teacher. When an aspirant has been solo for too many years coming to us, it might often times more than not futile to even attempt to adjust the years they wasted trying to carve a path and endlessly going nowhere in a self created maze of useless facts they pass off as encyclopedia knowledge of the occult. Find a Path and stick to it is very important, of course, and they do what we require a Probationer to do all their life. You can learn from them for a while but the absence of magical powers, spiritual insight and never ending waste of energy on non essential low magick keeps them on the same plane. Of course, I shall not name names but an aspirant on the Path does have to eventually choose a teacher. Choose well, then, and observe caution with those who claim everyone should go solo. Some are too naive to understand how naive they are; and others are too arrogant to admit anyone can teach them anything. They have no idea the seriousness of magical current nor will they ever trying to be Atlas and being crushed by a world. As for the list of errors of what they regret they forget to include the most important one of all. Them not finding a teacher so that the other errors would have been avoided altogether. Those who have experienced the military would find an army without a boot camp insane. The soldier needs the drill sergeant or the boot camp instructor to know combat. The same truth exists where an aspirant of our Path must have an Instructor to truly give them audit to avoid delusion and develop along the lines of the Curriculum. Fort Bragg makes a soldier a real soldier and the Instructor on our Path audits toward true initiation. Some debate to a point of skew wise rationalization that seems to be in their favor but all they do is attract the current of the black brothers if their ego moves beyond a certain point.
Now that I’ve gone over skew wise rationalizations that seem to win a debate but are simply a manifestation of “because” I should add that Liber LXV, Chapter One brings up an issue that warns about this concern to “fret yourself” (line six) which if you study the previous verses touches upon this misplaced perception based on improper observations. “Division of the word” shall often result in “mixing of the planes” and in addition the lack of tolerance for those whose will moves at a different rate of vibration, or turns out to be the tip of the iceberg of a school of thought any number of misconceptions lie. By the time you arrive at line eleven you realize that something very important is being presented where those of lower Grades, not being where the higher initiate arrive with real initiation, convinces themselves that their remarks hold any water.
Many examples of this issue occur when an aspirant turns in an essay that cannot vibrate above Yesod but they have decided is their full bodied school of thought meant for Chesed. One aspirant, although quite loyal, tried to turn around 0 = 2 to 2 = 0 making up some perspective that would deteriorate from the esoteric true interpretation of its parallel in Liber AL, Chapter I, verse 28. Another aspirant ignored the Master’s warning with regards to futility of Notariqon and Temurah which was given sufficient caveat in Liber 777 on page 21 and 22. Proceeding to write absolute nonsense whose insights were equally without body. In fact, not following instruction to memorize those pertinent lines in Liber 777 they behaved like we use dogmatic versions of interpretations. As it turned out she hadn’t “gotten around” to even reading Liber 777 trying to skim through the volume when it should have been given serious concentration. These issues are not uncommon where they think they think what we supposed to be thinking and are given rude awakenings with no uncertain terms with the issue of concentration of the priorities of the Oath and Task.
Consider the flow of instruction and inquire within how you could be the same Grade you were ten years ago. The answer is most of the time the same. That you did not concentrate on your Oaths.
Now consider the flow of information from the solo practitioner trying to make money from such instruction and note it is also the same answer. That you had no Instructor for he or she is not teaching you but expounding to impress you and not to initiate you.
