Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
This essay clearly isn’t going to be for the type of Thelemite that changes the style of a letter by not putting Θελημα in Greek or the failed candidate who exists in another Thelemic Organization hiding his failure from everyone. It is for those who have never given up and have taken a stand. So lets begin.
It is always somewhat tense where you have so many applicants for membership that initiation ceremonies take so much time to get everyone tested and prepared. You never want nor will to let new candidates to wait in line for several weeks. I must really point out that taking more than one candidate at a time in the initiation ceremonies is not preferable to taking four at a time. Not unlike the issue of the school teacher who has too many students in his classroom and the learning process suffers. We need some time to study and audit. We need to observe zeal to those below us in the Order who are showing themselves fit to give them very real advice or inspiration.
It is clearly the same general principle of the need to concentrate on the candidate and his or her awakening of True Self apply. Of course, trying to awaken the True Self means the Secret Self is unveiled and the idea is when this has occurred the True Will can be realized. Remember that line two of DUTY makes the nature and powers of the being known will energize the process of the True Self awakening where the True Will is known where the star moves forth on his or her path. You simply cannot begin the process by such a generalization as explanations that start with the True Will. Start with the nature and powers of the being awakening and do not skip the following out the ordeals of the knowledge. DUTY is extremely important and I proclaim it a glorious and insightful instruction. Do not ignore this document or its importance as a very real guide for Thelemites. Not only is the nature and power of the being presented in DUTY but in the Oath and Task of the Probationer.
Clearly, this is to the advantage of the Instructor who has gained the skills of fortifying the fit where at last initiation has truly occurred and you release them into the Forest where you need no longer be concerned about new membership nor them falling. Real initiation means you never fall from it as long as you do not permit deterioration. Magical Practices are distinguished from Magical Gestures. Of course, the Instructor is actually a mere auditor and those who are unfit are eliminated naturally if some series of obsessions or errors of the past have made them unworthy. As I stated in my essay on Obsessions they are not so chosen. So, those where initiation has really occurred where they fulfill their Oaths and Tasks the building of the Hierarchy is observed in its very real glory. Some would be Guardians, some will establish themselves in their proud Sephira. Some will continue towards Adepts and Master, or make the attempt.
If you cannot understand an initiation let me at least attempt to bring you to the reality of what is going to be necessary for a hint of how to see yourself in the mirror. If you cannot understand a hint let me give you a blare. If the blare is too much for your sensitive mind perhaps you are better off running along and going back to being a sidewalk philosopher or stay on the level of someone who is enslaved by drugs or a conspiracy theory. We fortify the fit, and eliminate the unfit. It is no wonder that the Darwinists are friendly to us although they cannot perceive initiation and evolution or their parallels like Us. After all, how do you evolve into the next species above homo sapien? (A juxtaposition where Darwinism is compared to Liber Tzaddi is too racy for the blood of those type of intellectuals who struggle with so called “social Darwinism”) Moreover, they are not initiates but mere intellectuals who do not understand reason is a lie. I have tried to explain in my essay on Evolution how and where issues exist on what we will be in the next state of evolution merely from the fact that you cannot truly influence or understand anything unless you are on the plane above it. I explained that if the IQ of a moron for the next stage after homo sapien is 180 how it is possible for you to understand a genius of the next stage of evolution? You really should meditate on this and realize that you absolutely cannot really know the next Grade until you have attained it. The reality of this, again, needs experience. Of course, while the explanations of the True Self, Secret Self and True Will are being awakened the entire concept of Hadit Unto Nuit takes a fulfilling perspective. The metaphysics of the Law of Θελημα, once a spark, becomes living reality as a flaming Star. How interesting that Thelemites exist that misinterpreting Ordeal X or haven’t buckled down to the work of Liber Nu and Liber Had after decades vibrate on the same level even after years. They gain a minor initiation without an Instructor and off they ride into the sunset making all sorts of fool claims. Yet, this essay isn’t about the failed Probationer but the building of the Aeon where membership is steadfast when the joys of love redeem you from all pain. Always Unto Nuit!
What we do is encourage you to awaken the True Self where the Secret Self is revealed and from there the True Will dictates the course of your life as a star with a true fulfillment. In a sense, we create an ecological system where the possibility of those obscure insights of how a philosophy can be built around the Darwinist perspective without actually permitting the type of extremism that is a common error among the Darwinist who cannot apply natural selection. I have tried to explain this in other essays but I make the attempt again for those who have gained the real initiation and have experiences with Hierarchy that will perceive the reality and the importance of its raw deliverance to other Thelemites.
Eventually you will have assurance of the future of your Hierarchy and I’m certain this has to be the case for other Thelemic Organizations although I cannot be absolutely sure who is in adherence to any number of principles as it has been passed down from those who have taken ONE STAR IN SIGHT or the O.T.O. Manifesto seriously. Since we Veil the Shrine in direct acknowledgment of this protocol I cannot tell for certain what others are doing if they are, again, Veiling the Shrine. Of course, if any contact would exist between other Thelemic Organizations it would be in times of emergency where we would welcome them sanctuary from persecution. This might not occur in our lifetime but we are Thelemites here and we know how terribly A.C. was treated when he came out into the open. I am no savior, of course, but the Book of the Law does state as brothers fight ye. I simply have this interpretation that some agree with and others are wary of. I take a stand with my school of thought not really knowing what the future will be like with regards to how Thelemic Organizations view or treat each other. One of my key members in a very high position and Grade which he earned over years speculated that Thelemites might move into tribes.
You can be assured that although I do not claim to be in touch with the Secret Chiefs I have called out to Them ceremonially where I have been answered by very real scenario. As I have been informed, a failed student of my Instructor is now claiming to be in touch with the Secret Chiefs. I am firm in my observation that no one in the City of Pyramids has ever heard of him. The reality is I am satisfied on how it turned out for me and disappointed that he failed. This is actually a compliment where others I was not disappointed with noting how typical they were in the way they rationalized away their perception of Hierarchy. It is difficult not to be disappointed with someone who you were convinced had potential only to hear of such delusions.
No one knows what the plans of the Secret Chiefs really are. When we call to Them they do not always give us the scenario we expect and what Nations will be eliminated or created in the next several centuries and onward through the Aeon are magical secrets for the few and secret. I once, as a jest, whispered in to a Sister’s ear. “It’s the Secret Chiefs, they are behind everything.” At the time I was young on the Path and it was clearly intensely amusing at the time to utter such irony. Today I utter the words without a whisper where I have seen so much over the decades. I became a Thelemite during the New Age Movement of the seventies e.v. in 1972 e.v.. At the time of this writing it now the year 2023 e.v. where I am no longer concerned about the number of Thelemites in the world. How many Thelemites existed in the world in 1972 e.v. that were seriously carrying on the growth of the Law of Θελημα?
Only a handful and they were all Hierarchy.
