Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
The more years that elapse the more glorious my decision in 1972 e.v. was to accept the Law of Θελημα becomes. I have observed many over the years who decide to reverse their decision of the Path; and in every case they perish with the dogs of reason. The pattern of deterioration of magical energy; and the serious ruach masturbation that results is quite similar for such deluded fools who have gone back on their Oaths or suddenly turned against the Hierarchy; and noting such horrifying failures I am glorious to have not fallen into the pit of because. The very first initiation that is a true initiation should convince you; and if it turns out for you where you give up and do not take a stand perhaps true initiation never occurred at all. I have noted a few failures rationalizing themselves away; and of course those educated in critical theory can pick and choose any number of irrelevancies to justify their deterioration. The worst of them have been, in their past, been infested with some branch of vile and cursed eastern mysticism where they really weren’t alert to its disease finally does them in when they will not or can not cleanse themselves of this impurity. Those who come to us from another branch of western esotericism have different ordeals than those who have been infested with the disease of eastern esotericism and especially so if their latent western temperament has been enslaved by some greasy eastern guru who has taken them to the bank. For myself, the Law of Θελημα was embraced as a Path that was tailor fit for my western temperament; and what the Master Therion did to purge the old Aeon disease from its curriculum made and yet makes perfect sense. So, anyone who I would observe who left our Path was always something of a shock. Especially if I anticipated them to become at least Adept in this lifetime where they ended up giving up. I am loyal to the Law of Θελημα even after so many years; and I admit to being shocked when out of nowhere someone claims to be no longer a Thelemite.
Shall I then expound and explore how I perceive some of these issues; and try to give a vision on how after all these years with sufficient initiation I stated that My God Force is not questioned by the blasphemy against all gods of men. Most certainly, not a proclamation in my wildest dreams in the early days of my Path would I would ever imagine myself to proclaim. Laugh at me, or slander me, or kill me or let me live yet I stand firm with my dedication that I have chosen the right Path.
For those educated in critical theory in the academic, scientific community they might question string theory and evaluate whether the equations are consistent with previous data. To apply critical theory in an attempt to explore the reality of corresponding definitions with western esotericism with eastern esotericism we really have to put forth some effort not to proclaim exact definitions such as the Atman being precisely the same in definition with True Self. Naturally, human beings being human beings everywhere will have similarities with spiritual enlightenment. Critical theory is just that, theory; and no matter how well you debate you are either going to base the groundwork of your data presented with reality or you are going to move to a soapbox that when applied drops to all fours. This sums it up to falsely winning the debate simply by backing your data up where you’ve jumbled it all together to a direction of your rationalizations. For example, Marxism in theory seems to be logical but applied to Government makes everyone slaves. String theory may work out with the equations but is it a scientific reality? An individual who has failed in a magical organization might give any number of examples of its corruption but it does seem suspicious that the aspirant who failed might turn out to be infested with ruach masturbation where he has blamed his teachers or Hierarchy. He or she was simply educated in critical theory where he can easily present himself as compromised where he has not exposed his teachers or Hierarchy but simply has pieced together random events that he blew out of proportion to win the debate to make everyone but himself or herself be observed to the negative. In addition, critical theory can twist the facts to meet the prejudice of the ego or even result in conspiracy theory. So the issue of critical theory, especially applied to eastern esotericism compared to western esotericism must proceed with caution. General dissatisfaction with status quo from some bad experience means you could generalize too much and even present data in a way that you end up lying to yourself; and then lying to others. Well, Thelemites might study the Curses and take it from there. We must then begin with analyzing cause and effect to observe what issues or causes exist where the Curses were necessary for the New Aeon. Our critical analysis must be aligned with what we know to be very real issues with the old aeon. When we start here we can stay in touch with reality to move to truth rather than carefully selected rationalizations that will move us to what we really are to strive for as truly initiated. Another example is the crossing of the abyss and whether anything parallel exists in eastern esotericism. If the crossing does not correspond to anything exactly in the East we do have the issue of whether the catastrophic perceptions are involved where we know that the natural growth of the child or the concept of the Babe of the Abyss simply doesn’t exist. Most certainly the Western Master as an M.T. cannot be easily found correspondence with the Eastern Guru whose concept of what a civilized and initiated human being should be makes it very difficult to achieve exact parallels. The key will be the Crossing is a permanent attainment while the so-called exact correspondences in the East are simply temporary experiences. I have stated that a healthy young initiate that has attained will proclaim “existence is pure joy” while the aging and deteriorated body of the older Adept might confuse the planes. What other explanation for such insanity as someone proclaiming “existence is sorrow” in contradiction to how they viewed the glory of life when they were young? The savagery of a Buddhist or Hindoo Monastery compared to the glory of an Abbey of Θελημα cannot be realized in its implication without observing both. Only then will the seriousness of critical theory come to a reality that can proven by observed realities. I do realize how horrified a reaction from the Eastern Guru when they, even for a second, realize what their civilization becomes when they try to apply it all to what they consider progress. I may find Raja Yoga by Swami Vivekananda one of the best books on the subject with an excellent glossary but it is also true that he never studied western esotericism where his criticism of the west amounts to zero experience from our traditions and multitude of metaphysical perceptions throughout the centuries.
If anything, the endless poverty in India; and errors that affect the environment and even relationships from neglect show you that what you think is the initiated Adept cannot be what you have permitted yourself to believe. Six thousand years of Yoga in India and what has been accomplished? Any progress comes from the West where the application of passive indifference mistaking it for a civilized human being hasn’t assisted them on their own. Then when We try to explain ourselves you jump to the conclusion that we are evil sorcerers. Let us start with a common tale from the East that is supposed to give an important lesson applying with nearly discreet critical theory the following the example of savagery from the Buddhist or the Hindoo. Thelemites must meditate carefully, meanwhile, on what is meant by “crapulous creed”.
I have heard two stories from two sources that have either been from Buddhism or the Hindoo tradition that are nearly identical. The story is similar with both where the disciple informs his guru that he can now walk on water after thirty years. Now the guru does not compliment his disciple on his successful accomplishment with developing a magical power. Instead, in an apparent jealous reaction sarcastically tells the loyal disciple he could have easily taken a boat across the river. What occurred after this false teacher spoke such callous words to his disciple isn’t told but I wouldn’t have blamed him if he left the tutelage of this false guru. Here in the western esoteric path no such sarcasm would have been heard by any of us where we would have gone over the magical records to see if we could have shortened the meditations that led to his glorious achievement. Knowing that over the centuries Jihad and Inquisition has stifled overall the magical powers in the DNA of humans we would have gladly honored his achievement with respect. So what motivated this false teacher to lash out with such a cruel reaction? Was it jealous rage or something else? What possible motivations or school of thought would initiate such a reaction? After all, we strife to find the nature and powers of our being to unfold our True Self to know our True Will to realize our Great Work; and to deny the Siddhi is to deny those parts of ourself which assist our Path forth toward the higher initiations. Yet the disciple was accused of being a sorcerer for his years of work and efforts where any Path other than the idiot rationalizations of this false Teacher who actually got away with his behavior; here in the west he would have been honored for his dedication and years of work. Did this false guru teach that the ultimate goal of spiritual enlightenment was some spiritual nothing; or some other path where the nature and powers of the being were ignored being enveloped by some aging guru who takes revenge on his healthier disciples from his deteriorated physical body to claim “existence is sorrow”. In our system we state “existence is pure joy”; and how could a system of spiritual enlightenment deteriorate so rashly as to permit such an insane view of the glory of life where sorrow is considered to be a goal? The moral of the story is then clear where we must always be on the alert for false gurus who would attempt to indoctrinate the loyal disciple with presumptuous and uncivilized notions that cause restriction where the “natural growth of the child” is ignored and such catastrophic reactions from jealous and ill conceived gurus must be strictly avoided lest you become a slave to their tricks. The horrors of the eastern esoteric path must be observed with open eyes; and although some of the meditations have been purged by the prophet we must not ignore what is Cursed. Isn’t it true that the Hindoo has as much difficulty with our terminology as we have with them with regards to exact definitions? Is Atman from the Hindoo the same as True Self from the Thelemite? Although similarities exist, trying to define one for the other might be jumping to conclusions. After all, there idea of what the civilized and initiated human being should be amounts to deletion of those aspects of the True Self which we consider to be in many ways inconsistent with their realized Atman. “Compassion is the vice of kings…” shows that we do not view compassion as they do; and trying to explain volition or “love under will” is not always met with satisfaction.
With the purging of the purity of the prophet to adjust meditations to the New Aeon we cannot be labeled as a “Raja Yoga” or a “Karma Yoga” although we use some of the more pragmatic methods as a means to an end rather than an end with no True Will. If anything, Swami Vivekanana in his volume titled “Raja Yoga” criticizes the west with the assumption that we are all monotheists buried in Bible dogma, absolutely ignoring anything else of ancient tradition or method from western esotericism. It hadn’t occurred to Swani Vivekanana that he insults not only our intelligence but exposes himself as someone who poorly researched or observed the western temperament. He states that supernatural beings bring spiritual decay trying to sum up a process that he has never, even remotely, has experienced. His proclamations are typical of how his critical theory is based on twisted observations to build a case for Raja Yoga that when applied to western temperament simply would result in old Aeon slavery. We might state that Raja Yoga not purged properly cannot only deteriorate the sheaths of the self; and anyone from western traditions trying to apply it without careful purging for the western aspirant will only end up as blind to the New Aeon leading any student who would be conned by such treachery equally blind.
You are urged not to ignore Liber HHH, Liber O and other Class D documents where the Master Therion has already resolved these issues.
