Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law

I should emphasize as I have been emphasizing for many years the importance of “Chain of Command” where its breach upsets the smooth movements and transitions of the Hierarchy. Also, its adherence of protocol means you are aligned perfectly with our Manifesto, ONE STAR IN SIGHT, where it specifically states;
There is also a rule that the Members of the A∴A∴. shall not know each other officially, save only each Member his superior who introduced him and his inferior whom he has himself introduced.
The occasional relaxation of this rule where congestion is easily resolved throughout the years has made me give the directive of a “Grand Neophyte” to higher than the Grade of Neophyte where its function works better in Hierarchy at Dominus Liminus. Yet, “chain of command” resolves the issue of the Superior assigning a Task to two affiliated and proven loyal to the Hierarchy. In such a case, the directive to not discuss each mutual issues and concentrate on the Task at hand means the Superior becomes a temporary chaperon until the Holy Task is moving with automatic transmission where the duty of each aspirant is concentrated on the mutual goal.

The reality of operating as a “Grand Neophyte” needs experience and the example of a Holy Task has already been experienced. What occurs when you put the process into motion. The higher Grade initiate will react to the change immediately expressing confusion of the ruach until the mind settles into the Task where method and goal has been overseen by this delegated triad. The lower Grade has to adhere to what the assigned higher Grade initiate delegates and simultaneously pay attention to the overall goal. To avoid the congestion warned about in ONE STAR IN SIGHT the processes of “chain of command” cannot be ignored. The triad working out the Holy Task can easily fall apart if too much pressure by the Superior who has to monitor until things are kicking into gear where the Holy Task is being initiated. True, the Superior has the choice whether he may or may not make severe the ordeals but the goal isn’t a process of initiation but a Holy Task to achieve a specific goal where publishing might be one example or real estate purchase for an Abbey yet another vision of scenario. This means you are processing a specific magical gesture where it would be foolish to make severe an ordeal where the pressure would ruin the entire or ultimate goal of the Holy Task.

Now, the purchase of an Abbey where no one below the Grade of Zelator is permitted to own its property we have the issue of who should own the property. With publishing we have the issue of those numerous problems that come with publicly issuing decent proofread text; and the vital decisions of who is going to or not going to be included on the new material’s Imprimatur. Note that when Karl Germer instructed my Instructor Marcelo Motta his magical motto as 6 °= 5 was used in the publication of 1962 e.v. of Liber Aleph. Based on this agreeable format of Imprimatur no one below the Grade of Adept Major should on the Imprimatur for our Lineage; and only if this vision of a triad of a Holy Task has at least that Grade participating. If a Zelator has submitted an essay that is included in the special supplement I might make exception, on rare occasions, if I am satisfied that everything else is sufficiently parallel to the achievement shown in the contributed essay. It is otherwise important that the Imprimatur includes participants only which is equally important with regards to the chain of command. No Probationer will be permitted to be on an Imprimatur, obviously, where they must finish their probation to even participate in the complexity of such a triad of Holy Task. Naturally, no failed Probationer of any lineage can legitimately by the rules of ONE STAR IN SIGHT ever print anything, ever. That such a breach has occurred in the past is most deplorable but as Karl Germer once stated anyone can put themselves in print to make any false claims. We have learned much from the Golden Age of Frater Saturnus aka Karl Germer who always instructed my Instructor away from the level of deceit that a fake lineage will always brandish. Again, I shall not name names where the purpose of this essay shall be to describe my years of experience with chain of command; not to know and destroy enemies.

A breach of chain of command does not arrive with subtlety at your door. More than once a Neophyte whose ego has gone out of control; or delusion or self deceit would try to go over the head of the Zelator. However, it is always observed with crystal clarity where they they try to transfer to another Instructor by my permission to someone else. Yet the Oath and Task should have been clear. They are not showing Reverence, duty, sympathy, devotion, assiduity, and trust where nearly always this time the breach of the chain of command means they have gone against their original Oath where they have very little chance of redemption.

The attempt to initiate the process of a “Grand Neophyte” will nearly always upset the process of chain of command where the attempt to avoid congestion recoils into any number of ego issues between members of different Grades. However, with experience the process does adjust itself where those who are assigned to work together temporarily for the sake of some goal of the Hierarchy accomplish the holy task where all parties learn from the initial awkwardness by raw experience.

Other issues that involve chain of command can become quite complex and better left when initiation has occurred. For example, lets use the example of an A∴A∴ Neophyte that is A∴A∴ only without affiliation with the O.T.O.. Well, if the other member in the triad of Holy Task is both A∴A∴ and O.T.O. different approaches might be presented where you have to retain patience where, again, only the main goal to be completed is emphasized.

This essay is meant to clarify and explore the importance of chain of command in Hierarchy where I reiterate its importance to really learn its complexities you must experience it.
